Kentucky Sheraton sugar chest, cherry primary, poplar secondary, having a rectangular dovetailed and pegged case with brass escutcheon and three-quarter depth hinged and molded top, above one dovetailed drawer with wood pulls and four tall turned and tapering Sheraton legs. 36 3/4 in. H x 25 1/4 in. W x 18 1/4 in. D. 2nd Qtr. 19th century.

While there are putty repairs to the back of the case, an examination of the underside of the top does not suggest the hinges were ever moved from their original position.
