Four 19th century framed lithographs depicting interior decorations discovered at Pompeii and Herculaneum. Published by Roux and Bouchet, 1872, lithography by Benard and Frey. Period antique carved giltwood frames. 2 measure 10" x 9" sight, are float mounted and are possibly cut down, the other 2 measure 10-1/2" x 13" sight. All 15" x 17" framed. Provenance: Collection of Joe Cashia, Meeting of the Waters, Franklin, Tennesssee. Condition: All with moderate toning and scattered foxing, colors remain vivid.
