French Empire style 'Sac a Pearl' chandelier, clear cut glass crown with bronze, swag-embossed bezel, over multiple draping strands of faceted clear crystal prisms attached to a large bronze ring at the waist, 6 upward facing faux candles with gilt metal sleeves over electric light sockets, ring supporting additional clear crystal drapes converging in a central clear cut glass bowl to form a sac/basket, with a hanging faceted crystal ball. 48" H x 20" Dia. Continental, 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Minor patination to metal and possible minor scattered losses to individual prisms. Chandelier functionality not guaranteed and should be checked by an electrician prior to use.
