Ando Hiroshige (1797-1858), three modern Japanese woodblock prints with landscape views, all apparently glued atop woodgrain mats. 1st item: Figures on a bridge. 2nd item: Landscape with tower, from 100 Celebrated Places of Edo published 1856. 3rd item: Hodogaya, from the vertical edition of the 53 Stations of the Tokaido published 1855. Provenance: the estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: All glued down, with toning/browning and fading, 1st item has some spotting to center, 2nd item has small stain lower right corner.
