Lot 21: Chinese Late Qing Embroidered Dragon Skirt

Chinese late Qing Dynasty embroidered red silk skirt, pleated design with gilt and polychrome embroidered dragon chasing the flaming pearl decoration to the lower edge, with black ribbon borders to the central panel and edges. Green satin lining. 31 1/2" L (excluding muslin waistband) x 42 1/2" W (at waistband).

CONDITION: Some scattered wear and minor staining. Some seam wear and loss, primarily to left facing side of skirt, scattered losses to ribbon border.
