Wilhelm Schwar (German, 1860-1943), double-sided oil on board. One side depicts roosters and hens and is signed and dated lower right W. Schwar 97, the other is a sunset landscape, also signed lower right and dated 97. Later giltwood molded frame with linen liner. 8" x 12" sight, 13-1/3" x 17-1/3" framed. Condition: Landscape scene has light craquelure. Chicken scene is in excellent condition.
