Edward Kellogg (Pennsylvania/Tennessee, born 1944) oil on canvas autumn landscape painting titled "River Houses," depicting houses set into a mountainside, overlooking a river stream. Biography (courtesy Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art): Born in Pennsylvania in 1944, Kellogg developed his early artistic interests by studying at the Philadelphia Art Institute. His education included a focus on painting three years at Wheaton College in Illinois, after which he transferred to San Diego State University receiving a BA in art in 1966 and an MA in painting and printmaking in 1968. He was an art professor at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, 1973-2010, and resides in Chattanooga. His work is included in selected collections throughout the Southern United States and worldwide. CONDITION: Excellent condition.
