Group of twenty (20) assorted barber bottles, vases, and a ewer in amethyst, cranberry, and other mixed colors. Ten (10) have rough pontils to underside, including one (1) Bohemian, possibly Moser gilt and enameled cranberry glass vase or footed bottle; three (3) enameled Amethyst glass bottles; two (2) enameled cobalt glass bottles; one (1) gilt-enameled blue-green bottle; one (1) green enameled glass ewer with clear handle; one (1) light green bottle with lily of the valley and gilt enameled decoration; and one (1) enameled amber glass bottle. Ten (10) with finished pontils or smooth bases including two (2) milk glass barber bottles with painted decoration and labels "Shampoo" and "Toilet Water" and raised lettering to underside: KOKEN BARBERS SUPPLY CO ST. LOUIS; two (2) matching amethyst cut to clear bottles with rayed bases; one (1) pink cased and enameled bottle; one (1) enameled amethyst glass bottle; one (1) clear and frosted bottle with butterfly design and illegible raised lettering to base; and three (3) cranberry cased glass bottles. Heights range from 6 1/2" to 10" H. Late 19th century to mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Mary Ann Denney, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Wear to lettering on "Shampoo" bottle. Rim wear and possible rim repair on light green lily of the valley decorated bottle. Two amethyst bottles with possible rims ground down. Otherwise all items excellent condition.
