American tall chest of drawers. Possibly figured cherry or maple primary, white pine secondary. Ogee cornice over upper case consisting of three dovetailed drawers over four graduated dovetailed drawers. Lower case with ogee medial molding over three graduated drawers, case resting on French bracket feet. Upper and lower case with fluted quarter columns. Appears to retain the original oval brasses and brass escutcheons. Upper case 38 3/4" H x 40 1/2" W 22 1/4" D, Lower Case 35 1/4"H x 40 1/2"W x 22 1/4"D. Mid-Atlantic, circa 1810.
CONDITION: Older refinish, left side with darker stain applied inconsistently. Colored stain inconsistently applied to lower two drawers of top section and on all three drawers of lower section and more consistently to right side. Upper left edge of third drawer of upper case with break to molded edge, and small 3/4" patch to upper case on right side.
