Dan Young (Colorado/Texas, born 1959) oil on panel plein-air rural landscape painting titled "Summer Night" depicting a row of houses situated in a green field before a tree line and a mountain range, background, the early evening sky above. Signed "Young" lower left. Titled and signed with Pinon Fine Art, Littleton, CO gallery stamp and Mountain Goat Frames name and phone number inscribed in gold ink, en verso. Housed in a carved gilt wood frame with gilt and burl veneer rabbet edge. Sight – 9 1/2" H x 11 1/2" W. Framed – 13 1/2" H x 15 1/2" W. American, late 20th/early 21st century. Provenance: Private Knoxville, TN collection. CONDITION: Painting in overall very good condition. Minute areas of painting exfoliation, lower quadrant of panel. Scattered cracks, largest 1 1/2", surface of burl veneer. Veneer partially separated from frame, lower left corner.
