Lanier Meaders (White County, Georgia, 1917-1998) folk art pottery double face jug, green matte glaze with kaolin eyes and quartz teeth having two handles. Signed "Lanier Meaders" with numbering to underside. 9 1/4" H x approx. 8 " dia. Provenance: Consignor purchased directly from the artist from his Georgia shop in 1973.
CONDITION: Scattered minor firing cracks, largest measuring 2" L. Two minor areas of glaze pooling at eyes.
