Three (3) Tennessee split white oak buttocks baskets including: one (1) large basket, buttocks form with finely woven rim and solid handle, signed “Ida P Davis/Woodbury, TN/Thelma “Davis” Hibdon/2001″ on underside of handle; one (1) buttocks basket with woven rim, handle and diamond design, initialed RKD and dated ’91; and one basket with a woven rim and handle, unsigned. Ranging in size from 8 1/4 in. H x 8 3/4 in. W to 11 in. H x 12 1/4 in. W. All 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Billie Ann Smith, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: All baskets are in overall very good condition.
