Two paintings by Xavier Ironside (Tennessee, 20th century). Item 1: Watercolor with graphite depiction of an abandoned House with gables and a collapsing front porch. Gilt frame. Signed lower right and dated '78. 17" x 22" image, 27" x 30-1/2" framed. Item 2: Watercolor depiction of an abandoned cabin or shack with the words "Keep out" painted on the door. A faint line of graffiti is visible across the lower edge, giving the impression the shack is being viewed from inside another building. Signed lower right and dated '73. Black frame. 23" x 17-1/2" sight, 26" x 31" framed. Provenance: the collection of Stephen and Lisa Steiner Small, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Both watercolors overall excellent condition.
