Walter Hollis Stevens (Tennessee, 1927-1980) abstract watercolor on paper, titled "Quarry Walls". Signed "Stevens" lower right. Additionally signed and titled en verso. Unframed but retains the original backer board. Image: 18" H x 25 3/4" W. Sheet: 21 1/4" H x 30" W. Circa 1958. Note: Stevens was one of the "Knoxville Seven" and a professor of art at the University of Tennessee. His work is in collections of the Birmingham Museum of Art, Carnegie Visual Arts Center in Alabama, and the Mint Museum in Charlotte. CONDITION: Unframed. Very light toning to paper, otherwise very good condition.
