Four (4) English and Irish Sterling Silver Snuff Boxes, including George III. 1st item: George III Irish silver snuff box, curved rectangular lidded form with bright cut engraved vine decoration surrounding a braided oval engraved MP in conjoined script, fully hallmarked RS (possibly for Richard Sawyer), Dublin, 1813. 2" W. 2nd item: George III Rectangular snuff or tobacco box with engine turned basket weave style decoration to lid and base, the lid with reserve monogrammed JS to _L, fully hallmaked for Daniel Hockley, London, 1811. 2 5/8" W. 3rd and 4th item: Two (2) round Edwardian snuff boxes, each with hinged lid; one with engraved decoration marked for Birmingham, 1910 (maker's mark worn); the plain one marked ISG, Birmingham, 1912. Both approximately 3" dia. Combined weight: 7.49 oz troy. CONDITION: 1st item: Some minor wear to engraved design. 2nd item: Some wear to interior and to one corner of bottom exterior. 3rd item: Overall excellent condition. 4th item: Lid will not latch, a couple of small dents and scratches.
