Three (3) European Oil Paintings, including Mieczyslaw Olszewski. 1st item: Mieczyslaw Olszewski (Poland, b. 1945) oil on canvas cityscape of Warsaw titled "Stare Miasto". Signed and titled en verso of the canvas. Housed in a carved and painted contemporary wood frame. Sight – 25 3/8" H x 19 1/8" W. Framed – 32 1/2" H x 26 5/16" W. Note: Mieczyslaw Olszewski is a Polish born painter, illustrator, teacher, and essayist and a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. 2nd item: Russian impressionist oil on board still life depicting a bowl of fruit, candlestick and flowers on a table top with an embroidered linen backdrop. Signed and dated "Kopxob/1986" lower left. Housed in a carved gilt frame with pink satin liner. Sight – 23 1/2" H x 19 5/8" W. Framed – 31 5/8" H x 27 7/8" W. 3rd item: J. Schaepman (Netherlands, 20th century) oil on canvas painting depicting the portrait of an elderly rabbi with a full white beard, wearing a kolpik and a dark brown robe against a dark background. Signed "Schaepman" lower right. Ink stamp reading "Joh. Landen/kunsthandel/Laat 158 Alkmaar Tel. 3781" en verso of stretcher. Housed in a gilt and green painted wooden frame with off white linen rabbet edge. Sight – 11 1/2" H x 9" W. Framed – 20" H x 17 3/4" W. All items 20th century. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition. 2nd item: Overall very good condition, one area of indentation to canvas at matte seam, lower right margin. 3rd item: Very good condition with slight bloom in background and white accretion on sitter's forehead.
