Danny Phifer (Tennessee, 20th/21st century) mixed media on board still life depicting a Canadian goose beside a brown woven basket filled with pink flowers and a handled metal can with blue flowers in the background. Signed at lower right, "Danny Phifer." Sticker label, "Frame Enterprises, Incorporated Knoxville, TN.," en verso. Housed and matted in a molded wood frame with pierced decorations with wooden fillet. Sight: 17 5/8" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed: 24" H x 29 7/8" W. Note: Danny Phifer is a Tennessee artist who works with etching, watercolor, oils, and gouache.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with minor abrasion to upper right hand border and a small fray in the mat at the bottom center.
