Chinese Famille Rose Floor Vase, late Qing or early Republic period, baluster form with foo lion mask handles, hand painted calligraphy poem to one side; the other side with hand painted image of Guanyin in clouds to neck, over a scene of mothers and children in a garden and vignette of a female with artist brushes. 22 1/2"H x approximately 8" diameter.
PROVENANCE: Private Middle Tennessee Collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. A few light scratches to enameling, some rubbing to gilding at rim, some scattered spots of grime.
