1st item: Japanese .950 sterling silver box with engraved mountainous landscape decoration, signed lower left of top, and having a dark hardwood lining. Stamped STERLING SILVER 950 to underside. 7"L x 3"D x 1 1/2"H. Mid 20th century. 2nd item: Japanese Showa period mixed metal vase, globular form with maki-e matte bronze surface having inlaid mixed metal floral design, signed to side with 2 Japanese characters. 6"H x 6" diameter. 3rd item: Chinese Export silver clothes brush, having an oval handle with repousse decoration of writhing dragons, stamped for Luen Wo (working Shanghai, late 19th century). Monogrammed "Purl" to top. 1 1/4" H x 4 3/4" W x 2 3/4" D.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Couple of pinpoint sized dents to silver box. Vase – excellent condition. Brush – some wear to silver surface decoration, area of verdigris oxidation to one side.
