Flintlock tinder pistol lighter, engraved brass body and stand, brass receptacle for small candle or rush, engraved steel trigger guard, and wooden handle. Marked "Robbins". 7" L x 4 7/8" H. English, Late18th/Early19th Century. 2nd item – Large brass and steel flintlock firing mechanism. Flintlock appears to be a finished mechanism and not hardware for another weapon (?). 5 1/2" L. English or Continental, 19th century. CONDITION: 1st item – old edge break to wooden grip near trigger guard. Not tested for functionality. 2nd item – overall very good condition.
