1st item: Document box or miniature trunk with domed lid and painted borders, stenciled L. A W to top of lid, interior of lid with ribbon holder and old handwritten label inscribed, "this trunk was made by my father G. W. Weller for his sister Lucyann whe she was 10 years old, consequently is 78 years old. H. W. Paul". Retains key. 8 1/4" H x 15 1/4" W x 8 1/2" D. Note: The 2018 receipt is available to the winning bidder. 2nd item: Miniature box opening to multicolored painted interior and a removable tray with various compartments. Partially legible inscription to interior of lid "CTW…". 3 1/2" H x 7 1/8" W x 4 1/2" D. 3rd item: Storage box with overhanging lid and base. 4 5/8" H x 12 1/2" W x 8 3/8" D. American, early to mid 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Urbana, Illinois collection.
CONDITION: All items with scattered surface wear and scratches commensurate with age. Document box with fraying to ribbon holder; locking mechanism functional.
