Chinese Famille Rose polychrome porcelain rectangular jardiniere or planter with flowering branches, insects, and birds, gilt rim, and bracket feet. Unmarked. Raised on fitted, tiered hardwood stand with bracket feet. 4 1/8" H x 15 3/4" W x 9" D. Overall with stand: 7 3/8" H x 16 5/8" W x 9 3/8" D. Jardiniere Qing period, 19th century. Wooden stand 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Williamson County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered wear to gilt, minor wear to glaze, minute scattered surface residue, and scattered minute fleabites particularly to rim and base; loss to corner measuring 3/8" x 1/4". Stand with minor surface wear.
