1898 British Infantry Sword and Model 1874 French "Gras" Bayonet. 1st item: 1898 British Infantry NCO sword and scabbard made by Mole in Birmingham, England. The guard has conjoined "VR" (Victoria Regina) and the blade has multiple date stamps. In good condition with some pitting on sword and a few worn areas on leather scabbard. 40 1/2" L. 2nd item: Model 1874 French "Gras" Bayonet and scabbard, possibly from the Franco-Prussian War. French script engraved on flat edge at base of blade. In good condition with slight pitting on blade. 25" L. Dated 1876.
