1st item: America folk art walnut rectangular form box having a paneled and hinged top with reverse painted black and white glass panels to body, including a landscape with log farmhouse, portrait medallions of George Washington and John Hancock, and a jockey on horseback. 6 1/2" H x 13" W x 9" D. Late 19th century. 2nd-3rd items: Two (2) leather or hide-covered boxes with brass tack decoration and hardware, including one (1) dome top miniature trunk form with brass handle and hasp lock to lid, brass escutcheon plate, and banded decoration throughout (6 1/2" H x 9 5/8" W x 6 5/8" D); and one (1) rectangular form box with brass ring handle to lid and escutcheon having accent-colored hide to front, inscriptions to inner lid, "Lord Bill Hanson 1820", and to underside, "Lord Belhamm 1782 / R.E.L. 1912" (6" H x 12 1/4" W x 7" D). American or English, 19th century.

CONDITION: 1st item: Scattered craquelure and losses to paint on panels. Pencil inscriptions to interior. Inset panel to lid may be a later replacement. Missing two screws for hinges. Key not retained. 2nd-3rd items: Both items with scattered wear to hide covering commensurate with age, including scattered minor losses, largest measuring 2 1/2" x 5 1/2". Keys not retained.
