Middle Tennessee 5-gallon stoneware pottery jug with light green/tan glaze, incised line around the neck and applied strap handle. Impressed mark along the base reading "James LaFever/Maker". Additionally incised "5" below spout denoting capacity. 20" H x 10" dia. Early 20th century. CONDITION: Overall good condition. 3 to 4 vertical spiders/tight hairlines, largest 3" extending from base. Remnants of green paint to surface.
