Twelve (12) Southern coin silver spoons including Kentucky and Tennessee. 1st -2nd items: Two (2) teaspoons marked for J. W. Ruth (John Wesley Ruth, 1839-1901, working Shelbyville, TN mid to late 19th century) with straight fiddle handles. 3rd item: Straight fiddle handled teaspoon marked I.W. (possibly James Wilkins, Nashville/Columbia, TN, 1820-d. 1876). 4th-7th items: Four (4) tablespoons with fiddle handles marked for J. Best & Company (working ca. 1867, Lexington, KY). 8th-12th items: Five (5) teaspoons with fiddle handles marked for E & D Kinsey (Edward & David Kinsey, working ca. 1836-1850, Newport, Kentucky, and Cincinnati, Ohio). Spoons range in size from 5 3/4" L to 8 3/4" L. 9.860 troy ounces total. Provenance: Nashville, TN estate. CONDITION: All spoons with general light wear. One (1) J. Best & Co. teaspoon with dent to bowl, all Kinsey spoons monogramm. Spoon marked "IW" with some flattening to handle, pitting to bowl. Ruth spoons monogrammed
