Mathieu Deroche (France, flourished c.1880) enamel on copper miniature portrait depicting two young women, one wearing pearl jewelry and kissing the other fondly on the cheek. Signed en verso Mathieu Deroche, Paris with the dates 1878 & 1889. Housed in a wooden frame with brass ormolu mounts. Miniature measures 3" H x 3 1/4" W. Frame – 6" H x 6 1/2" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century. Provenance: Estate of Bill Zarnon, Gatlinburg, Tenn. Condition: Overall very good condition. CONDITION: Overall very good condition.
