Thirteen (13) English and Japanese porcelain items, all with polychrome enameled decorations in the full Imari palette with gilt highlights throughout. 1st-6th items: Six (6) Royal Crown Derby items, including one (1) teapot, one (1) underplate, and four (4) bird paperweights, including two (2) matching pheasants, one (1) quail, and one (1) wren. Teapot and underplate with red 19th Century Robert Bloor marks, birds with red 20th century marks, all to underside of bases. Ranging in size from 5/8" H x 7 1/4" W to 5" H x 10" W. 7th-9th items: Three (3) Davenport Pottery, Longport, Staffordshire items, including one (1) saucer and two (2) cups, both with three small gilt feet. Saucer with red marks, ca. 1870-86, to underside of base. Ranging in size from 3/4" H x 5 5/8" W to 2 1/2" H x 3 1/4" W. 10th-12th items: Three (3) Japanese items, including one (1) covered casserole dish and two (2) matching vases, Unmarked. Ranging in size from 6 1/4" H x 3 1/2" W to 6" H x 10 3/4" W. 13th item: English saucer, unmarked. 1/2" H x 7" dia.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of James W. Perkins, Jr., Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with scattered crazing, firing flaws, losses to polychrome and gilt, largest 2". 1st-6th items: Teapot with repaired breaks to tip and circumference of spout. Two birds are missing gold stoppers. 7th-9th items: Largest cup with surface grime to interior and underside of base. 13th item: 1/4" fleabite to underside of rim.
