James Abbott McNeil Whistler (Massachusetts/England/France, 1834-1903) etching and drypoint titled "The Music Room". Kennedy 33, II/IIe. Pencil signature lower left, pencil titled lower center and pencil inscription lower right reads "original etching". Published 1859. Plate mark not visible. Sight – 6 1/4" H x 8 3/4" W. Framed – 15 3/4" H x 20 3/4" W. Purchased in 1985 from Gerhard Wurzer Gallery, Inc., Houston, TX. CONDITION: Overall good condition with very light spotting lower left and left margin. Margins appear to be present, hinge mounted.
