East Tennessee, Hawkins or Greene County, corner cupboard of smaller size, cherry primary and poplar secondary, one-piece construction. Consisting of a flat top with molded edge, canted corner returns, two paneled doors having beaded trim above two lower doors, each with three quilted diamond punched tins with repeating beaded trim. The canted corner returns transition into shallow circular turned feet. The top and base are fitted with two interior shelves. 78 1/4" H x 52" W x approx. 29 1/2" D. 3rd Qtr.19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Hawkins County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Older refinish, minor scattered wear, losses and abrasions.
