1st item: Middle Tennessee stoneware pottery jar, ovoid form having a flared rim and sine wave with incised line decoration to the upper shoulder, light grey glaze. 12" H x 7" dia. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd item: R. M. Hughes & Co. Monogram Vinegar advertising pottery jug, white slip body with black stenciled letters on the body reading "Monogram Vinegar/rom R. M. Hughes & c/Lou, Ky./for sale by John Atwood, Franklin, Tenn.". Top with two ring loops and wire bail handle. 10" H x 7" W. Early 20th century. Provenance: Descended in the Moran family of Woodland Farm in Williamson County, TN. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition. 2nd item: Overall good condition. Spidering to one side of base and extending into the body.
