Romanian or Greek Orthodox icon, tempera on convex cradled panel with gilt depicting the Madonna and Child, surrounded by two angels, above, and six saints left and right. Unsigned. Two (2) paper labels, one (1) with red ink stamp reading "F. P. Bucuresti", and additional black in stamp en verso. 12 1/2" H x 10 3/4" W. Late 19th/early 20th century century. CONDITION: Overall good condition with natural age cracks, largest 1 1/8", loss to varnish.
