Wooden barrel trunk or large document box, with side handles, protective copper edging and brass studs which form the initials "E.P" at center. Original iron latch, old paper and wallpaper lining. Condition: some shrinkage splits, replaced hinges. 24" L x 10" D. Probably American, mid to late 19th century. Found in Middle Tennessee.
