Group of six (6) 19th century hunting related items including powder horns, one (1) 1857 dated powder horn example with carved scrimshaw decoration including a masted ship, soldier with rifle, house, chicken, and fish with the initials CHC and SSC and a wooden plug, 9 1/4" L; one (1) uncarved powder horn with the initials WBD or WBO and dated 1822 with an attached leather and fabric pouch, 6 1/4" L; one (1) small carved wood powder horn with leather top, 5 1/2" L; one (1) leather saddle pouch/bag, 8" H x 9" W; and one (1) brass telescoping spyglass, likely English, marks are worn, 18 1/2" L (when fully extended). 19th century. Provenance: Nancy Walton Collection, Gatlinburg, TN. CONDITION: All pieces with wear commensurate with age and use. Largest powder horn with losses to end around the plug. Crack to one side of wooden plug. Wear and losses to leather pouches. Spyglass with denting, primarily to largest section.
