East Tennessee walnut corner cupboard, yellow pine secondary, one piece construction with canted sides. Cavetto molded cornice with scallop carved frieze above two 8-pane glazed doors, medial molding, two paneled doors, and shaped bracket feet. Top with four shelves and base with two shelves. 87 1/4" H x 48 1/2" W x 30" D. Possibly Washington or Greene County, TN, Circa 1820.
PROVENANCE: Private Middle Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Older surface with minor scuffs, fading and abrasions; break to left return on the cornice. Break to lower backboard near rear foot. Interior has been painted.
