Pair (2) of Continental, possibly German Nymphenburg polychrome and parcel gilt porcelain female busts, both depicting young women with light blonde hair and pink floral bows or kerchiefs, wearing floral dresses, one with a cross necklace and one with cord accessory, both on round bases with foliate decorations. One with an unidentified blue mark to underside of bases. Both approximately 14" H x 9 1/4" W x 5 1/2" D. Mid to late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Fleabites, areas of loss, largest 1", to area where sculpture joins to base. Losses to polychrome and gilt with minor scattered firing flaws.
