Pair (2) of French Old Paris porcelain urns with gilt bronze mounts, fitted as lamps. Both have a robin’s egg blue ground with polychrome painted vignettes to each side, one depicting cherubs in and outdoor setting, and the other with flowers with repeating floral polychrome bands to the lids and bases. The tops of the vases show early conversion from oil lamps to two-socket electric lamps. 29 1/2″ total H. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: The lamps are in excellent condition, having been restored with new wiring and shade fittings.
