Willem George Frederick Jansen (Netherlands, 1871-1949) oil on canvas impressionistic painting depicting a woman, attired in an apron and bonnet, tending to her vegetable garden with a dark forest under a blue sky in the background. Signed "W.G.F. Jansen" lower left wth artist's name on plaque, lower center. Housed in a gilt and gesso frame with floral carved corners. Sight: 17 1/4" H x 14 1/4" W. Framed: 25" H x 22" W. Provenance: The collection of Dr. Andrew Wilkerson.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with light craquelure and surface grime.
