Edward Marshall Boehm (American, 1913-1969) bisque porcelain figure depicting two standing giraffes, a mother and calf, on a naturalistic ground. Mounted on a removable custom fitted wooden base with felt lined inset for sculpture. Signed BOEHM at base. Stamped with Boehm seal and scientific designation, number 17 and year 1985 on underside. 27 3/4" H x 24 1/2" W x 14 1/2" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Barbara K. Lipman, Memphis, TN.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition.
