Diminutive South Carolina Federal walnut inlaid sideboard, yellow pine secondary wood, three-board rectangular overhanging top with a double line inlaid edge, case with center long drawer with fitted interior and square side drawers with line inlay and shield inlaid escutcheons, lightwood cockbeading to drawers. Burled walnut arched apron with inlaid stars and banding. Stiles with inlaid ovals and line inlay. Square tapered line inlaid legs with horizontal banding near feet. 37 1/2" H x 61 3/4 x 21" D. American, South Carolina, early 19th century. CONDITION: Older refinish. Age split, approx. 7" L, right front top. Locks and brasses appear to be replaced. Overall good condition.
