Edward Marshall Boehm (American, 1913-1969) bisque porcelain figure depicting a standing male giraffe with closed eyes, with a log lying behind him on a naturalistic ground. Mounted on a removable custom fitted wooden base with felt lined inset for sculpture. Signed BOEHM at base. Stamped with Boehm mark and scientific designation, numbered 17 and dated 1985 underside. 30 1/4" H x 21 1/2" W x 15 1/4" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Barbara K. Lipman, Memphis, TN.
