Late 19th or early 20th century gilt metal American Federal Eagle form flagpole finial, depicting a figural eagle with fully spread wings, atop a wooden sphere, mounted to a later wooden stand. Eagle – 6 1/4"H. Overall – 19 1/4"H.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Ann H. Wells, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Age cracking, surface losses and glue repair to wooden sphere. Some wear to gilt on eagle, overall good condition.
