Vincent Jean-Baptiste Chevilliard (French, 1841-1904), Framed Oil on Board of an Interior scene of an older man being shaved and a fire burning in fireplace in background. Signed "V. Chevilliard" lower right. Back of board stamped with Paris gallery, "Goupil & Cie", and in ink "12687". In very good condition with very minor cracquelure on left side in curtain area. Blacklight reveals no inpainting/restoration. Two small breaks to molded frame. Sight: 8 5/8" H x 11 1/2" W, Framed: 16 1/2" H x 20 1/4" W. 19th century. Provenance: Sevierville, TN collection.
