Southern Hepplewhite form tavern table, poplar primary and yellow pine secondary with red wash, found in Fleming County, Kentucky. Scrubbed overhanging top with one central dovetailed drawer and red wash painted base. Top with table battens underside, pins missing. 31" H x 42 1/2" W x 30 1/4" D. 2nd quarter 19th century. Provenance: the Estate of Lynn Scholl Renau, Louisville, Kentucky. CONDITION: Stains and general wear to top with some age cracks. Drawer knob with wear and losses. Base with general wear and losses.
