1st item: Chinese watercolor and ink on paper scroll painting depicting a farewell scene; a woman on horseback is shown with one child clinging to her and another being held by an older man, with other figures in attendance, one holding the reins of the horse. Signed with two red seals lower right. Four character signature on the back along with inscription referencing the work of Chuo Ying, one of the four masters of the Suzhou School, Ming Dynasty. Painting measures 36 1/4" H x 21 1/2" W. Scroll overall measures 60 3/4" H x 25" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 2nd & 3rd items: Two scroll painting fragments including one depicting flowers and crab with signatures and seal mark, the other depicting a mountain and lake landscape with boat, signed with seal upper left. One measures 10 1/2" H x 11 3/8" W and the other 10 3/8" H x 10" W. Both unframed, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Provenance: Forest Heights, Knoxville, TN collection. CONDITION: 1st item: Foxing throughout and darkening to image. 2nd & 3d items: Both unframed with overall darkening.
