Rare Nashville, Tennessee coin silver tablespoon with fiddle pattern handle, monogrammed JM and marked RAWORTH & GORDON in rectangle on back (Edward Raworth and Robert Gordon, working together Nashville/Davidson County, Tenn. 1817-1818). Ref. Benjamin H. Caldwell, Tennessee Silversmiths, p. 142. 1.7 oz troy. Early, scarce example of a spoon made during this short-lived partnership between two good silversmiths. CONDITION: Slight wear to tip of bowl, overall very good condition.
