Jean Jules Salmson (French, 1823-1902), bronze bust depicting a lady with upswept hair and draped fichu, possibly Marie Antoinette. Signed and dated at the right edge "J. Salmson 1873" and signed at the left torso edge by the foundry or caster "P. Baur." 19 3/4" H x 10" W x Approx. 7" D.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga, TN collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with old patina. Very minor indentation to base edge, approx. 3/8".
