Three 19th century cat engravings. Pair of hand colored lithographs of cats from Naturgeschichte in Bildern (Natural History in Pictures) sheets # 2 and # 5, text by Dr. Fried. Strack, published and lithographed by Anstalt, Dusseldorf, 1828. This extensive German natural history work illustrated mammals, birds, reptiles and fish. Browning to edges and 3 small tears to one sheet. 7 3/4" H x 11 1/2" W image. German early 19th century. 2nd item – A. Cooper, R.A. colored engraving of a calico cat, published by Lloyd Brothers & Co. Sight 14 3/4" H x 12" W. Framed 24 3/4" H x 21 3/4" W. Excellent condition but has slipped in frame. English/Late 19th century. (3 items total). Provenance: Knoxville, TN estate.
