Purvis Young (Florida, 1943-2010) folk art mixed media on canvasboard painting depicting a nude figure surrounded by colorful undulating lines rendered in loose brushstrokes, all in shades of brown, back, pink, and yellow. Signed "Young" in upper right corner. Excerpt on the artist adhered en verso. Unframed. 40 1/2" H x 16 1/4" W.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Jay Justice, South Carolina.
CONDITION: Some paint loss and wear to edges of work, light surface scratching, and one area of loss in upper right corner.
