Includes a fine burlwood brass bound miniature barrel or keg with top which lifts to reveal a spool holder, 4-1/4"H; a gilt metal pincushion in the form of a horse drawn carraige with hinged top and figural rider (minor wear to gilt), 3"H x 6"L; a Tunbridgeware pincushion with inlaid wood base and top which slides to reveal storage underneath, 1"H x 3" W x 1-1/2" D; an abalone shell form needlecase with metal mounts; a pink leather miniature sewing kit or necessaire with brass filigree mounts in the form of a traveling trunk labeled Strassburg containing thimble, thread and needle (fittings loose); a gilt-tooled leather necessaire labeled "Ladies Companion" with 2 bone handled tools, thimble, and some needles (some contents missing, wear to exterior); a heart shaped silk World War I era "sweetheart" pincushion with patches for the Royal Army Service Corps, "Forget Me Not" and "Think of Me" mottoes, beaded and metallic decoration (light staining/fading and some losses to trim), 7" x 6"; and a square red pincushion with crystal beaded decoration (scattered losses), 6-1/2" square. All late 19th to early 20th century, mostly English. Condition: All items in good condition with minor wear and signs of use except where noted.
